SFD Academy- Week 5

Daddy couldn't make it to Donuts with Dad at Elliott's preschool, 

but Grandpa Ben came to the rescue and made it a special occasion anyways.  

Thank you Dad!!

And when "Donuts with Dad" ended, 

Grandpa got a little
"Sitting with Summer" time.

And when Daddy got home later that night, 

he got to unwrap his present and get a little

"Evening with Elliott" time and everyone was happy :)

We had our last swimming lesson at the pool

We had a play date with our neighbor Owen
(and every ball we own!)

 and everyone was having so much fun that we invited him to stay for lunch :)
Now when I see him, he enthusiastically tells me about the time he got to come over to my house and have lunch with all my friends (he thinks my kids are other friends that have come to play) and then he demonstrates how loud they were by covering his ears and yelling "Ahhhhh!".
I am guessing lunch at his house is a little calmer than at ours :) 

Oh, and Murray was there too. Can't forget him :)

Week 5 also brought Apricot Season to our backyard.
Once the first apricots begin to ripen, we have about 3 days to pick them all before the birds and squirrels get to them. Good thing we have so many helpers!!

It's always nice to see your kids enjoying the birthday gifts that you hoped that they would like.
This one has been a big hit: Football Guys

At the park, Summer brought me a flower for my hair and a stick so we took some selfies at the park while Elliott was off chasing squirrels, 

and Oliver worked on his Ninja Warrior Skills:

Then we capped off the week with a bang by heading to San Jose for 

Jacoby and Ryder's Annual Birthday Extravaganza:

There were Birthday Boys, 

(Jacoby, 7 and Ryder, 5) 

A GIGANTIC pinata, 

A football game, 

Birthday Cake,
(and a cousin to share it with :))

All the Aunties, Uncles, Grandmas and Grandpas a Holleman could ever want, 

Happy Family Time, 

And an epic Ice/Water Fight!! 

Making memories with these cousins is always

Loud,

Rowdy, 

Messy,

and TONS of fun!!

 (and I still don't have a single picture of them looking at the camera at the same time...but I got close this time...maybe next year? :))
