What do you do on a warm afternoon, after you've already played outside in the pool, after you have jumped on the trampoline and after you have had a smoothie and it is only 3:30 in the afternoon?
Your mom goes on Pinterest and finds you something fun to do, of course!!
I have to admit, this is probably my second time EVER actually doing something that I have seen on that site....but I would say it was a total success!
1 flat sheet (I used a double)+1 kitchen table= a kid-sized hammock!!
For even more thrills, just add a flashlight!!
And the only thing better than one kid-sized hammock...
Is TWO kid-sized hammocks!!
...and a brother!!
And if a flashlight AND 2 kid-sized hammocks AND a brother are so, so much fun, than you better go to sister's room to WAKE HER UP so that she can join in the fun too. (thank you very much Elliott!!)
She was still in shock from being unexpectedly woken up, but I think she liked being in a hammock...
with her brothers...under the kitchen table. Who wouldn't love that? :)

My kids had fun in their hammocks till Daddy came home.
And then we all went out to eat since my table looked like this:
Totally easy, totally fun.
And I wouldn't even call this a mess- it's just a little evidence of a happy childhood in the making :)
