No- the weekend of food poisoning for Sean and I PLUS a poor stuffy nosed baby who couldn't sleep lying down PLUS a freezing cold storm to keep our outdoor loving son indoors is finally over. I really don't know how we would have made it if my amazing mother in law and her husband didn't drop everything and come to our rescue (drove an hour and a half!) after a 5am desperate phone call from my poor husband in between trips to the bathroom :( Seriously, I don't know how we would have made it through without them- I would probably be blogging from inside my cell at the mental hospital on this rainy night instead of my cozy home.
Speaking of cozy, my little glimpse of our month in review has NOTHING to do with being cozy because, other than this weekend, the month of May has been absolutely glorious! (weatherwise that is...life can be so HARD sometimes!!)
Sean hung a swing for me (and our kids) for Mother's Day.
It is just silly how fun it is to swing in my own front yard!
Love it all. Love you all.

Okay, your weekend sounds totally awful. I am so sorry. "When it rains it's a hurricane." right? So seeing Elliott in the OP swing brings back fond memories.... Luke was such a fussy little guy, that sometimes our only way of getting him to sleep was taking him to that swing at 10 PM... it would lull him into sleep... And funny that looking back, it is a totally sweet memory. Ha! At the time I was soooo tired!!!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear you were all so sick! Nothing worse than food poisoning, especially with kids around. Ugh. Glad things are better! Cute swing pics!!
