well....here goes!

I don't really know how to go about starting a blog... I wish that there was some way to just "update" and then I wouldn't have the dilema of wondering where do I start and how far do I go back with my introductions? So, in the name of keeping it simple, I am just going to start from where we are today. For those of you who know Sean and I, well, you know us and for those of you who don't, I hope that this blog is an accurate account of who we are and what is important to us. I think that my biggest fear in beginning something like this is wondering if what I choose to write about or include will be the snapshot of our lives that accurately reflects what it is as a whole. The main reason why I am choosing to begin a blog at this point in our lives is because we are expecting our first baby in May and I am living further away from any of my friends and family than I would like to be. I am hoping that this will be a fun way to keep everyone updated and "in the loop" about all the little things that would otherwise just blend into life and never be shared again. I am not a professional writer or an avid reader so don't expect profound philosophical remarks or deep thoughts to contemplate- this is purely for fun and the enjoyment of the people who care about us.
